Bright Voices is under the musical direction of Martyn Blagden and the music we sing will be whatever takes our fancy, from pop classics to American song book melody’s to perhaps African based folk songs... and we aim to smile and enjoy every moment, and hope our audiences will too.
Bright Voices are a new singing group based in Brightlingsea Essex. Formed in March 2011 we are currently rehearsing weekly and enjoying a membership of around 64 singers. Due to large take up of all sections we are not actively recruiting any new singers however anyone wishing to be involved in the future should contact us here. Although we do not require you to read music, some vocal qualities will be needed and for anyone wishing to join there will be a very quick and relaxed audition. We rehearse Monday evenings in Brightlingsea and use technology to provide downloadable rehearsal files to ensure rehearsal sessions are as productive as possible.
We hope our name will reflect what we are, and how we do it!
